Asia Walęcka

Asia Walęcka (b. 1992, Poland) is a London based visual artist working with photography, illustration and text. Her practice and research are mainly focused around the areas of human body transformations, the idea of the modern attitude towards death, and the identity of cultures across the planet. She graduated from The School of Art, Architecture and Design in London with a BA in Photography. Her project ‘TRANSITION’ responds to the identity and relationship that humans have, or do not have, with their own physical body.
