Benny van der Plank is a Dutch photographer based in Amsterdam. He studied at the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. He frequently travels to Hong Kong to work on projects, and for his latest project Aftermath Hong Kong Protests photographed the consequences of the protests in Hong Kong at the end of 2019. By then, clashes between police and protesters had become more frequent and increasingly violent, leaving an open wound on the daily lives of Hong Kong’s citizens.
