Berk Kır

Berk Kır (b. 1997, İstanbul) is an artist, art historian and self-taught photographer based in İstanbul. His photographs contain an intervention against the flow of life -- instead of photographing events that occur in real time, he creates fictions by reassembling moments with a common-sense approach towards creation. The artist seeks to develop visual approaches to emotional transitions and contemporary problems by focusing on the relationship between the human body, space and objects.
