Chloe Davies

Chloe Davies (b. 1995, Wales) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Wales, UK, working with performance, photography and moving image. She recently received her MA in Documentary Photography from the University of South Wales, UK. Davies’ practice reflects on the connection between relationships, memory and the archive, and its subsequent role in the interplay of narrative and familial transgenerational trauma. Her current work, which evolved from transgenerational anecdotes, explores such themes, as well as the role photography, memory and subjectivity play in the representation of history.
