Costanza Salini

Costanza Salini (b. 1997, Rome) is an Italian photographer based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She is currently following a BA in Photography at the Willem De Kooning Academy of Rotterdam. She works with medium format analog photography which she often combines with audio recordings. Her practice is dedicated to intimate portraits, to people's stories, and to affirming diversity. Salini’s current projects deal with the themes of body representation, the free expression of gender, and the promotion of acceptance and normalization. Her images reflect the empathic relationship she establishes with the portrayed subject.
