Emilia Martin
POLAND
Emilia Martin (b. 1991) is a photographer and artist from Poland currently based in the Hague, the Netherlands, where she is undertaking a Photography & Society Masters Programme at the Royal Academy of Art; she also participated in photography courses at London University of Arts (2015-16) and in the Sputnic Mentoring Programme (2018-19). Additional diplomas in British and American literature serve as a great inspiration in her photographic practice, and her interests revolve around notions of identity, ownership and belonging. Martin chooses to work on long-term personal stories, where she regards dedication and understanding to be the key factors.
