Irene Gittarelli
ITALY
Irene Gittarelli is a Padova-based artist who recently completed her MA in Photography at Brera Fine Arts Academy. She previously studied Artistic Design for Companies at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in her hometown of Turin. Her artistic research is influenced by renaissance paintings, fashion and the pre raphaelite movement, humanities, art and cinema, and attempts to describe human fragility and the relationship between man and landscape. She employs the body as a means to create imagery deeply inspired by the concept of infinite rebirth and metamorphosis, identified by a sense of delicacy, elegance and mystery.
