Jade Joannès

A graduate of the Paris Cergy National Graduate School of Art in 2019, Jade Joannès (b. 1994, France) is a photographer based between Paris and Lille. She is working on an ongoing project entitled “A Strange Attraction”. Found in public or private spaces, these images linked to collective, childish, popular or personal imaginaries have a double reading and also exhibit social and cultural issues. They question our relationship to the interpretive power of images: if an image is an answer or if it is a question. Endowed with poetic humor, this series evokes the marvelous and unsuspected side that can be found in reality.
