Jakub Ra

Jakub Ra (b. 1995, Czech Republic) is a visual artist who works in many creative fields, from fine arts and performance to photography and art direction. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with a MA in Photography and New Media. Ra has intensively and enduringly devoted himself to the body as the central phenomenon of his work, and he has long documented the queer community, creating portraits of young LGBTQ+ people. He has exhibited in New York, Rome, Paris, Jerusalem and other cities. He currently works between Prague and Paris.
