Jesaja Hizkia

After studying Graphic Design in Amsterdam, Jesaja Hizkia (b. 1987, The Netherlands) focused on discovering the world of photography: without any experience, he started photographing in the streets, trying to get as close to people as possible without affecting the environment. In his photographs, he captures a variety of objects in arbitrary places, where shadow and light meet and where lines provide the frame. Currently, Hizkia’s work has developed towards a more minimalistic style, nevertheless displaying an eclectic mix of colourful shapes, people, objects and street scenes from places all over the world. Hizkia currently works and lives in Haarlem, The Netherlands.
