Karin von Oldershausen

Karin von Oldershausen is an autodidact photographer based in Hamburg. Her work revolves around the different rooms we inhabit in space and time, the tension between mind space and real space, and how these two spaces interact when we look at a photograph of nature. She also invites the viewer to question the concept of nature as being a room which we can access or leave as we like and to see ourselves as part of nature. Her work was last exhibited in 2019 at Flo Peters Gallery in Hamburg.
