Lara Micheli

Lara Micheli (b. 1990, Switzerland) is a Swiss photographer based in the South-West of France. She studied Art History in Paris and holds a BA in this field. With her Polaroid camera she makes images that she uses as negatives and prints to large format photographs. Finding inspiration in the details of the human body and life experience, Micheli often uses close-ups framing and self-portraiture. Her current work focuses on the feminine figure, the circle of life, and the question of transmission.
