Luisa Huebner

Luisa Hübner studied at the Friedl Kubelka School for Artistic Photography and since 2016 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Her own body and the engagement of ‘play’ with it are both tools and recurring themes within her work; using household utensils on and in relation to her body, she experiments with the paradox inherent in the “non-work” of traditionally female domestic activities. Hübner took part in exhibitions such as ‘CLITICAL TALK’ at Improper Walls in Vienna and the Parallel Vienna art fair in 2020. Her photo series “kitchen” has been shortlisted for the Belfast Photo Festival 2021.
