Marcel Rickli

Marcel Rickli (b. 1986, Switzerland) is a Swiss photographer focusing on projects related to the energy and resource requirements of humanity and their resulting environmental impacts. His work captures an epoch in which humankind has become the most important influencing factor on our planet's biological, geological and atmospheric processes: the anthropocene. He has exhibited at a number of photography festivals including the Athens Photo Festival, the Month of Photography in Minsk and the Fotofestiwal in Lodz, where his project Aeon was selected for their Open Call. In 2015 he self-published his monograph Hagneck.
