Margaux Corda

Margaux Corda (b. 1994, Switzerland) is a photographer working between Lausanne and Paris. She graduated from ECAL (École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) in 2018 with a bachelor’s in visual communication, specializing in photography. Corda’s artistic work focuses on the themes of identity, beauty and heritage, asking herself about the perception of such issues in western society. As a woman, she constantly wonders about the symbols and representations of gender today, but also about the historical, emotional and familial baggage that we inherit. These themes are closely linked for her and she makes them reason with each other in her works.
