Merette Uiterwaal

Merette Uiterwaal (b. 1990, The Netherlands) is a photographer interested in the simplicity of everyday life. Due to her colour blindness, Uiterwaal views the world in an unusual way. Her abstract portraits investigate the dynamics of the landscapes of our surroundings, with the resulting surreal images open to the viewer's own interpretation and understanding.
