Natalia Kepesz

Natalia Kepesz (b. 1983, Poland) lives and works in Berlin. After graduating with an MA in Cultural Studies and Art History at the Humboldt University Berlin, she studied Photography at the Ostkreuzschule Berlin. She uses photography to identify with the hidden qualities of her character, to better understand her reality, and to express her interpretation of the world around her. By photographing, she transforms her own childhood memories. Natalia took third place in the 2021 World Press Photo Contest (Portrait, Series), is the winner of the Residency Prize of Hellerau Dresden 2021, and one of the winners of the Open Submission contest of Belfast Photo Festival 2021.
