Sebastian Wells

Sebastian Wells (b. 1996, Germany) is an obsessed documentary photographer, driven by the contemporaneity of current affairs and thoughts about how to visualize it. Having started as a sports photographer at the age of 15, his interests are now mainly focused on political stagings and exploring what it means to live together in Europe. Wells, based and raised in Berlin, graduated from the Ostkreuzschule for Photography in 2018, and has been a member of OSTKREUZ Photographer's Agency since 2019. In his most recent project, ‘La Rada di Augusta’, he examines the post-industrial society around one of Europe's largest oil refinery complexes in Sicily.
