Sergei Belov

Sergei Belov (b. 1982, Russia) is a Russian photographer raised in the Soviet Union and Russia, currently living in Germany and working between both countries. He graduated from the Docdocdoc School of Modern Photography in Saint Petersburg. In his work ‘Nostalgia. Before’ he attempts to give visual meaning to his prematurely arisen feeling of nostalgia before the impending parting with his homeland. He also focuses on personal projects which deal with the themes of researching the human being and his place and relationship with the modern world.
