Steffi Drerup
GERMANY
Steffi Drerup (b. 1974, Germany) is a visual artist based in Berlin and East Frisia. She is currently studying at Ostkreuzschule for Photography Berlin as part of the ‘Meisterklasse’ (Master Class). In her work she often explores the concepts of family, memory and belonging. Drerup's project “ichfolgedessen” is her personal quest for identity, rooted in a certain moment in time where a man’s life had been saved by a photograph; her work has been exhibited at galleries in Seoul, Copenhagen, Belfast and Riga.
