Sunniva Hestenes

Sunniva Hestenes (b. 1999, Norway) graduated from Oslo Fotokunstskole in 2020 and is currently studying Fine Art Photography at HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design in Gothenburg. Her series ‘A bird flies into a window’ focuses on escapism, dystopia and ethereal reality. Her practice revolves around exploring the potential photography has in creating a narrative, and how the consumption of images can trigger emotions in viewers.
