Tommy Sussex

Tommy Sussex (b. 1986, Devon) is a documentary, portrait and editorial photographer living and working in Hackney, London. Sussex graduated with a First Class BA Hons Photography Degree from the University of the West of England in 2014, and is currently studying a Masters Degree in Cultural Policy, International Relations and Diplomacy at the Goldsmiths University of London. His graduation project entitled “Our Sincere Toils” documenting "The Revolution of Dignity" in Ukraine was published by Bloom Publishing in Australia and featured in Dazed Digital's "most exciting new photography books of 2015”. Sussex is currently developing long-term projects in Eastern and Western Europe. His personal work uses a long-form approach; he actively revisits subjects and locations to produce ongoing chapters about individuals and communities, their decisions, and unique viewpoints within these environments over extended periods.
